How to make a public natural swimming area safer and more comfortable to use? Very simple – by limiting the swimming area with floating pontoons, an outdoor swimming pool is created, where children and people with lesser swimming skills can have fun safely, because they have the opportunity to hold on to the edges of the pontoons and the swimming ladders are also close by.

In addition to safety, floating pontoons make the bathing place more comfortable: the flat surface of the pontoons is ideal for sunbathing and when you install benches on them, parents also have a nice place to sit and keep an eye on their offspring.
In the case of a place where the water gets deep slowly or the beach area is very muddy, floating walkways can be used to create a trail to a place with sufficient water depth. This way, bathers no longer have to leave things on the far away beach and walk through the water or mud to the swimming place. Thanks to the walkways, they can also return to the beach with clean feet.
Construction of an outdoor swimming pool
We usually use lighter swimming pontoons and boat pontoons, on some water bodies also large timber pontoons with concrete floats.
The timber pontoons have a higher freeboard height, thanks to which you can jump into the water from higher up, but at the same time you need to climb longer on the ladder when getting out of the water. Climbing is easy for children, but it may not be so for the elderly. Thus, the budget, location conditions and the profile of future users must be taken into account in the planning phase.
Outdoor swimming pool with diving tower
The diving tower significantly increases the attractiveness of the swimming area and can become a separate landmark, especially in some smaller places.
For safety reasons, we usually place the diving tower a little away from the swimming area.
In the case of a diving tower, it is very important to ensure its stability, and for each project it is necessary to think of a suitable solution for this particular location. For example, if we traditionally build a part of a swimming pool on platforms on plastic floats, then to compensate for the weight of the diving tower, we use a platform on concrete floats under it.
